Dolomites Cross 2010 "the perfect line" - Fun, not speed

With a new presentation of the famous outdoor and mountain photographer Bernd Ritschel is underway this spring. Topic of the presentation is a challenging crossing of the Dolomites in the north-south direction in the summer of 2010.

After a successful debut in 2009 Skitransalp Bernd Ritschel, together with three friends in the summer of 2010 on the Dolomite climbs throughout its North-south extension. The focus was also set new records this time, but again the nature, rock climbing , various mountain trails, climbing routes , and the fun in the mountains.

The route went through many of the highest Dolomite peaks, among other things, the Marmolada , the Sassolungo, Piz Boe and Sas Rigais. The team (Marion Wittmann, Andi Pöll, Christian Speer, Bernd Ritschel) was also from the outset the full climbing gear in a backpack and was thus able to climb the great classics like the Sassolungo northern edge of the veil edge but also a modern sport climbing as the Delenda Carthago. In addition many beautiful climbing routes between Odle and Pala, and of course many famous routes such as altitude parts of the "Dolomite mountain path No. 2" or Bindelweg. 12 days were needed to cope without assistance or without a vehicle lift of 205 kilometers and more than 17,000 meters.

Bernd Ritschel told in this new presentation to be spontaneous, flexible and willing to compromise not only the often demanding and long tour days, but also of personal ups and downs of the vital necessity in the mountains. Rounding out the presentation by many spectacular Dolomite scenery between Feltre and Vintl - between Tyrol and Piave. A perfect presentation to want to do for spring and summer.
